Ashton Franssen

Ashton Franssen spent his drum corps career at the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps for the 2014 and 2015 seasons. As a teacher in the activity, Ashton spent time with the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps in 2019, the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps from 2021-2023, and most recently Genesis Drum and Bugle Corps as Assistant Caption Head.

Ashton currently resides and is a native of Houston, Texas, where he attends the University of Houston Downtown pursuing a degree in psychology.

In addition to his school work, he is a marching band and indoor percussion instructor/choreographer and has worked with many programs in the Houston area. These programs include Monarch Independent Percussion, Seven Lakes High School, The Woodlands High School, and he is currently the Visual Caption Head at Cinco Ranch High School.
