David Criscuolo
David Criscuolo is originally from Westfield, NJ, where he performed with the Westfield HS Drumline and the Winter Guard. After graduating in 2020, he moved on to receive a BS in Music Education from Towson University studying percussion under Dr. Michelle Humphreys.
At TU, David won the Concerto Competition and Peggy Friedmann-Gordon Music Scholarship Competition, played tenors for the TU Marching Band, performed as a guard artist with the Dance Company, and spun for TU’s Winter Guard. In world class, he performed with The Cavaliers Color Guard (2022-2023), GMU Winter Guard (2023), and won an Independent World Class Gold Medal with Fusion Winter Guard in 2024.
Since then, David has established himself as a diversified marching arts designer and educator. He has staged, choreographed, consulted, and cleaned numerous ensembles across the North East and Mid Atlantic regions, from A class to World Class, and has returned to the The Cavaliers each summer after aging out to work as a color guard technician.
After graduating from Towson in Spring 2025, David started his professional career as Band Director of Calvert High School in Prince Frederick, MD, and is excited to build up a fantastic band program with his new students.
